Sorry guys. Nothing to post today and I don’t feel like digging for something and putting you through a half-assed column. I know you expect greatness from me and I’m not up to it today. I’m also sad because as I predicted yesterday, a sweep by the Rockies would basically end the Cleveland Indians season. If you got some topics to discuss, let’s do it in the comment section. Carry me today boys.
Graig, where did Tim O’ Shea go? I’ve been saying get rid of him since my freshman year when even I knew what offense he was running. He sucked. Although he and his FLEX offense are probably good enough to join Mike Browns staff.
Two quick congratulations I have to throw out. First, congrats to Seal for getting on out the bike path and as he said in a text “trying not to be fat.” Second, to GFB for purchasing a mini-van yesterday at 11:30 at night. Who the hell buys a car that late at night? If you ever make me stay up that late on a week day watching your annoying little girl, while you and GFBW-1 are out making love in mini-vans until you find one that is like doing it in a Riveria in a parking lot, there is going to be some serious trouble.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Yes, the Tribe season may have came to an end last night. After three nights of not hitting against three starting pithchers who had ERA’s of around six in COLORADO, it may time to blow this thing up. They also showed some great defense last with Blake, Shoppach, and Peralta provided tripping over themselves. I am not exactly sure what can be done, but something definitely needs to be done. It has become painfully obvious that this team played above their heads last year (although they showed some signs of this offensive suckiness last year) and we may need a major overhaul to get some prospects back into our depleted farm system, starting with trading C.C. I love the guy, but he needs to go.
I could go on and on about this team, but I am not sure where or how it would end so I will stop now. One more thing, who the hell is Tim O’Shea? Is he the long lost O’Shea brother from “Little Giants?”
Sorry for the really bad typo in the third sentence. But, I guess if there is one place where typos are welcome it is this site.
Haha. F##cker
O’Shea is heading to Bryant College in Rhode Island. Close to his home and they join the Northeast Conference in D1 in the next year or two. He got an 8 year deal. I still think he looks exactly like Clint Howard who is apparently a good tipper. OU might finally be a threat in hoops again.
The Indians are God awful. I’m sure Bruce Drennan will open ABAO today by just shaking his head for 30 seconds straight before saying hello to Geno.
Shapiro kind of pissed me off cause he did nothing in the off season. Even the best teams try to get better in the off season. And you can’t tell me he was banking on Michaels and Delucci doing anything for us this season. That was our first mistake, leaving Francisco down to start the season. On a brighter note, I heard Cabrera is doing very well in AAA… AND, I am not sure if there is anything to read into here, but they have Cabrera playing SS in Buffalo. I agree with trading CC, as long as we get some prospects in return, pitching prospects. I love how the tribe continues to be the farm system for MLB. Whenever the tribe makes me feel blue, I just pop on Major League… that is my favorite Indians team of all time!
I can’t stand Bruce Drennan. He must know or blow some people to have that show. Does he ever say anything of intelligence on his show?
Womble, Drennan is an icon! The man is the king of unintentional comedy.
Damman, you’re typos are always welcome here. We don’t judge.
It will be interesting to see what Shapiro and Wedge do in the next few weeks. Ton’s of questions out there but there is still a month before anything like that happens.
Graig – I think that’s enough Drennan comments from you. Go trim your Giambi stache, put your gold thong on and jerk off to your memories of Yankee Stadium.
But an eight year deal for O’Shea? My God who is running that college? Did they ever look at OU’s teams in the last six years? The are good/respectable inspite of O’Shea, not because of him.
Womble – the Indians aren’t the farm system for MLB. We never trade away our prospects for current stars.
Remember that scene in Wayne’s World where Chris Farley the security guard knows all this stuff about Frankie Sharp from Sharp Records and Wayne realizes that that was an awful lot of info for a security guard to have? That is how you should feel regarding my Tim O’Shea knowledge.
That’s how I feel regarding most of your knowledge.
Hi Seal!!!
Hovey,
I believe your comment about the Indians not being the farm league of MLB is sarcasm. At least thats how I am taking it. I haven’t been commenting on here long enough to be able to tell.
Anyways, wake me up when the Tribe is .500. I will consider watching them once that happens. I think they could revamp their season with one signing. Bring back Kenny. All we need is some life in the team. We have the talent. I’ll still attend the games to take in some rays and drink some beer, but I won’t be watching them on tv until they do good again. I am taking the stance of a Boston fan, it seems to work well for them. Hell, maybe the Cavs will even sign Dwight Howard and Michael Redd if our attendance is terrible next year.
Please, no real names Womble. I know that can possibly your real name so don’t use mine.
HAHAHA… sorry about the Jbeantown. Is that better?
God you’re gay Womble. Who gave you my site address anyway?
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLLLLLLLLLLLLAAAAAHAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Beanie! any plans this weekend?
