HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!!!!! I want to wish love and loving to all my dedicated reader(s). Not loving from me but just loving in general. Since love is in there air, I thought I’d spend today spreading love to the rest of cyber space by telling you all why I love doing this blog.
I love doing this blog…
because it gives me a chance to talk sports on a (nearly) daily basis.
because it I get hear ignorant comments from my reader(s).
because those ignorant comments are usually inspired by my ignorant opinions.
because it usually takes a good half-hour to hour out of my day at work.
because when I started the site, it was suppose to be a two man team but since the launch of J Beanie Sports, I haven’t seen the second member. However, I did hear he gathered up his belonging (singular) and is traveling the country, rented an electric wheel chair and is determined to eat at every fried chicken and coney dog place in America. Good luck.
because I feel like I know Graig without ever meeting him.
because I feel like I hate Graig without ever meeting him.
because I got Frank to learn how to use a computer/the Internet.
because it give my brother something to do.
because without, I’d little to no contact the Girlfriend’s Brother.
because I get to make insane comparisons between Kansas State’s coach and Judge Doom from Roger Rabbit.
because I get to bring up Roger Rabbit.
because the entry and the day that attracted more people to the site than any other was the day I made fun of the Spice Girls getting back together. (Seriously, 836 people came that day)
because someone searched “fedex retirement package” and got to my site.
and some else searched “young lady from atlanta making beanies.”
and the search that brings more people here is “american gladiators.”
and those people probably clicked here and left without reading anything and never came back.
because I get to make asinine predictions that never come true.
because every now and then I’ll be right on about something.
because either way, I’ll at least have a diary of what was happening and what I thought about it when I look back.
because it gives me something to do at work. Oops, I said that one already but it deserves repeating.
because during the Cavs playoff run, we got a good following here and had some good discussions. (Still my favorite stretch since staring the site)
because the same thing with the Browns on Monday’s during football season (much to the chagrin of Graig.)
because I get to sit here and try to think of more reasons when I really should just stop the list and get back to work.
because J Beanie is fun!!! (How about that for a second-grade sentence.)
Anyway, bottom line this is pretty fun today, even if not that many people read it. How let’s play fill-in-the-blank… “I love reading J Beanie Sports because…”
