With the Tribe in the playoffs and the Browns all but sure to be blown out Sunday, it’s hard to concentrate on college football but we’ll do our best. Some weekend games to watch.
** Kentucky vs South Carolina ** I wish I would have touched on this yesterday but if you didn’t know UK was going to lose then you know nothing about college sports. It isn’t basketball season so expect UK to drop out of the top 25 as fast as they got there. They have LSU and Florida the next two weeks. Good run ‘Cats but it’s over. Lucky for you all those hot southern bells and a fantastic campus to cheer you up.
** Miami at North Carolina ** Butch Davis. The guy beats cancer. You don’t think he can beat The U.
** Wisconsin at Illinois ** Last week I had Illinois beating Penn State only to over think myself and pick against them since Ron Zook is their coach. Not this week. Illinois is for real, no matter what Ron tries to do.
** Iowa at Penn State ** Just a reminder of how bad the Big Ten is this year.
** Oklahoma vs Texas ** Wasn’t this game suppose to be between two top 10 teams? Oh, right, it was until they both loss last week. Is any rivalry game less appealing than this one?
** Florida at LSU ** Can Florida rebound from their loss last week? Not at LSU at night. Oh and by the way, I hate every school in Florida.
** Cincinnati at Rutgers ** As there even been a less appealing top 25 match-up in the history of college football?
** Ohio State at Purdue ** If OSU is good for one slip in the Big Ten, it usually comes at night, on the road. There was Northwestern a few years back, Penn State two years ago and Purdue this year.
** Eastern Michigan at Michigan ** Good news is Michigan doesn’t have to forfeit and games. Now, for the love of God will you please blow someone out!!!
As for the Browns on Sunday, I’m not going to go as far as say they’ll win, but they’ll win. How do I come up with something as unbelievable as fat sitcom men getting hot wives? Well, the Pats can’t be that good every week. The Browns are a decent team. The Pats, even though they’ll never say it, are looking to Dallas next week. The Browns have confidence after beating Baltimore. And if I call it and it happens, I’ll be one of the few who can say “I told you so.” Browns win 28-24.
Sunday should be a great day. The Browns beat the Patriots and the Indians finish off their sweep of the Yankees. This is shaping up to be one of the best sports weekends of the year.
Cincy/Rutgers is going to be a great game. UC has one of the 5 best defenses in the nation.
FYI, Miami/Kent is on FSN Ohio at 3 tomorrow…fuck yo’ couch, Flashes!!!
I didn’t mention the KSU/Miami game because no one gives a shit.
I’m only assuming there is no post today because you went to New York to kill Paul Byrd so he doesn’t start tonight.
The Miami/Kent game was a good game!!! You did the EMU/UM shitfest.
No but that would have a good idea. Why didn’t you tell me that yesterday? Post coming in a few.
