Things I loved about last night’s Cavs win, along with the whole playoffs so far…
I love that LeBron has been taking the ball to the hoop and not settling for outside jumpers, especially last night.
I love that even when LeBron isn’t on his game (Game 1 vs New Jersey), he still finds a way to make the big plays
I love that when LeBron can’t make the big play he has enough confidence to set his teammates up for even bigger ones.
I love that LeBron wants the ball at the end of games and in each game against the Nets he has made key shots in the closing minutes.
I love that after Game 2 Mike Brown said at the press conference something along the lines of “I called only one play. Give the ball to LeBron. Whether they were in zone or man, we were going to go through him.”
I love that as good as LeBron has been, he hasn’t been the whole story.
I love Drew Gooden rebounding, dunking and looking at his hands.
I even love his rat tail, anymore.
I love Sasha shaking off a bad series against Washington and playing great against New Jersey.
I love that in Game 1, Brown was going to switch Sasha off Vince Carter and Sasha said ‘no’ and in the next two possessions came up with a block and steal from Carter.
I love the rookie Daniel Gibson playing limit minutes but still making a big impact.
I love Anderson giving you exactly what you expect him to and then some.
I love Z forgetting about last year’s awful playoff appearance and playing like he is younger than 65 and getting easy tip-in’s and jumpers, giving the Cavs three more than solid front count players.
I love that Donyell Marshall and Damon Jones aren’t the first guys off the bench like last year’s playoffs.
I love the team defense.
I love the team rebounding, especially offensive.
I love the fact that the Cavs haven’t shot better than 45 percent in either game against NJ and still have won.
I love that I haven’t heard Fred McLoud for what seems like a month.
I love that a lot of analyst are picking, or were picking, the Nets to win the series.
I love the fact the Cavs have played their best ball during the final 6 minutes of every game this postseason.
I love the fact Cleveland hasn’t played anywhere close to their best and yet they have won 10 straight games.
I love the fact Cleveland and Detroit are on a collision course to meet in the Eastern Conference Finals.
